My how time flies!  Annie is 12 now, and is allowed to wear makeup.  She hadn't wanted to until today when she came downstairs in the morning with a new hairstyle and a request to wear mascara and lip gloss.  Oh my goodness!  She looks so beautiful and sooo grown-up. She's not my spunky toddler anymore!

Gold and Green Ball

Ellie got to dress up like a princess to go to the Gold and Green ball.  She had a great time and looked just beautiful!

Flat Ironed Hair!

Emily and Ashlyn wanted to wear their hair straight for a few days, so Lexie flat ironed it for them.  I forgot to take a picture of Ashlyn, but I did get a picture of Emily. She was not thrilled - can't you tell?  I think it looks darling this way, but it only lasts for a few days before the humidity here makes the hair curl.  It was fun while it lasted though!

La Push WA!

In March I got to go on a get-away with 3 friends to La Push on the Washington coast.  We had so much fun!  We hiked on the beach, ate wonderful food, talked, and talked some more.  I had a great time and it was just what I needed.  Thanks ladies!

Marq's Haircut!

Marq loved this particular haircut.  I had to laugh, because is looks like it always does!  But he thought it was wonderful.  Funny kid!

Ellie's 22nd Birthday!

I can't believe I have a 22 year old!  Ellie had to work on her birthday, so we just had a quick dinner and her sugar cookie cake.  It was very nice though.  And she used the birthday money we gave her to do something she rarely does - shopping for herself!  She usually spends her money on her siblings, so I was glad she did something for herself this time.  Happy Birthday my oldest beautiful girl!

Lexie is 19!

On Feb. 20th Lexie turned 19.  She visited and had a birthday dinner and cake with us which was great fun.  She's getting geared up for the big change this year - becoming a mom!  Happy Birthday sweetie!

Emily's Birthday!

Emily turned 9 on Feb. 15th.  I know I say it every year, but I can't believe she's that old!  I still think of her as one of my baby girls.  She had a party at the gym where she takes gymnastics and had a great time.  Her birthday cereal was Cinnamon Toast Crunch and she wanted chocolate and vanilla cupcakes.
She also got her ears pierced and was very excited about that.  Happy Birthday beautiful girl!

Fun at the Eye Doctor

Emily needed new glasses, so we made yet another trip to the eye doctor.  It seems like we're there at least twice a month!  Anyhow, Ashlyn found these goofy glasses and wanted me to take her picture.  Funny girl!

Talent Show!

The girls (yes, more posts about the girls) danced in their school talent show with their friends Aeris and Minnie.  They danced to the song "Dynamite" and did a great job and had lots of fun. These girls have some serious moves!

During church one week the girls said they were starving, so Tim took them out to the car for snacks.  I later found these pictures on my phone.  No wonder it took them so long to get back into the chapel!

The Girls 3rd Grade Music Program

In January, Emily and Ashlyn (aka "the girls") had their school music program.  It was a celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, and was very cute.  I love the programs at their school because they're well done and don't go on forever.  The girls did a great job!
