Ellie's Birthday!

The last of our February birthdays is Ellie, who turned 19 on the 22nd. I'm slowly getting used to the idea of her being an adult. She's crazy busy with school, karate, and a very active social life. She still plans on going on a mission in 2 years and going to police academy when she comes home. She's becoming a wonderful woman.

For her "cake" she chose sugar cookie bars. For her dinner, she just grabbed something from the freezer and heated it up, and her cereal was Honey Bunches of Oats. For gifts, she just chose to order several things from the Deseret Book catalog. Gotta love these low maintenance kids! Happy Birthday honey! We love you!

16! Yikes!

The next of our February birthdays is Lexie, who's birthday is February 20th. I can't believe she's 16 years old! Now she can date and drive. She's busily studying the drivers manual so she can take her test and get her license. She's an excellent driver, but it's still a bit scary. You'd think I'd be used to this by now, right? Maybe by the time Ashlyn drives...............

For her birthday, Lexie wanted to go to the mall with Tim and Ean and shop. They were very good sports and went along, and then didn't even complain about it. Her original plan was to shop all day, but I told her that since she was going to be shopping men, about 2 hours would have to do. Can you imagine Tim and Ean looking at women's clothes and shoes for the entire day? After shopping, they came home and Ean stayed for dinner with us. Lexie chose chocolate cake, fried chicken and potato salad for dinner, and cinnamon waffles for breakfast. Happy Birthday sweetie!

More Emily Birthday Pictures!

Here are some more pictures from Emily's birthday. Is she cute or what?!

Emily Is 6!

We have 3 girls who have birthdays in February - all within 1 week! The first one is Emily, who turned 6 on February 15th. It seems like just yesterday that we brought her home from Utah. I remember talking to our social worker in Utah while we were driving from the airport to the hospital to meet Emily. The social worker said she was very cute and that she'd never seen a baby with so much hair! When we got there, we just fell in love with her. And she did have tons of hair!

For her birthday, Emily chose chocolate cake, hot dogs and chips for dinner, and cookie crisp cereal for her breakfast. She got Polly Pockets, Barbies, Barbie clothes, and jewelry. Happy Birthday you darling girl, we love you!
