New Years Day

New Years Eve was quiet around here. We don't like to be out on the roads with all the crazy drivers, so we stay home and watch movies and eat junk food. Of course, Ellie and Lexie went to the church dance 45 minutes away so we got to worry about their safety. They had a great time though and were perfectly safe.

On New Years Day we spent time together just hanging out and then tried a new restaurant for dinner called Mizu. It was great! It's like Benihana's. They cook your meal right at your table while you watch. The food was yummy and we had lots of fun. It's definitely a place we'll go to again!

oooh that sounds so yummy..... I miss all the diverse food options from your neck of the woods.. out here in the Midwest it is "meat and potatoes" or "meat and potatoes". :)
